Hopkirk Foundation

The Hopkirk Foundation is a guiding group of leading sheep and beef farmers and veterinarians whose role is to liaise with New Zealand's pastoral sector industries and provide pragmatic input into the Institute's work.

The group helps ensure our research programme remains relevant to the New Zealand pastoral sector and that it supports the sector with practically-based research solutions that promise commercial value.

The Foundation's key activity is to facilitate greater interaction between the science and research communities, and farming communities. This ensures our research is targeted to farmers' needs.
